U.S. President Donald Trump engaged in an extensive social media spree on Sunday, sharing dozens of AI-generated images on Truth Social over more than ten hours. Alongside the synthetic imagery, Trump made several unsubstantiated assertions regarding his administration's financial record and foreign policy trajectory.
Among the posts was an image depicting Trump in front of stock market monitors at the White House. In the accompanying text, he claimed to have generated "Hundreds of Billions of Dollars on Stocks, and many other type Holdings" for the country. While the post lacked direct evidence, the administration previously acquired a 10% stake in chipmaker Intel in August 2025, a holding currently valued at over $50 billion.
The financial assertions come amid ongoing scrutiny over Truth Social's premium "Truth API" feature, a $100,000-per-month service providing early access to policy announcements. U.S. lawmakers recently urged the Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate whether the platform's parent company, Trump Media, is violating federal securities regulations.
Visual Depictions and Geopolitical Claims
The AI-generated imagery spanned a wide range of themes, frequently styling the president in stylized heroic roles. Visuals included Trump flanked by futuristic combat robots, posed as a professional wrestler draped in an American flag, and positioned inside a Space Force command center. Other synthetic media showed actor Robert De Niro holding a shirt supporting the president.
A significant portion of the posts targeted the ongoing conflict between the U.S. and Iran, which entered its seventh month of combat operations. Synthetic graphics depicted strikes on Iranian infrastructure, including vessels and Kharg Island, alongside unverified graphics asserting that the country's economy had collapsed.
Territorial Assertions
Beyond military imagery, several generated graphics asserted U.S. dominance over international sites and natural landmarks. The images labeled the Strait of Hormuz as a "new U.S. Territory" and depicted the Moon marked with the phrase "The Moon is Ours."
Another graphic labeled Lake Ontario as "Lake America," referencing a recent executive order aimed at renaming the shared body of water. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney previously dismissed the directive, affirming that Canada would continue using the historic name.
The White House did not immediately comment on the origin or intent behind the stream of AI-generated graphics.
